I’m just back from an awesome weekend at the Secret Garden Party, a festival which I was lucky enough to be working for this year. There were some first class acts, with one particular highlight for me being Django Django’s Zumm Zumm live. We also had Bastille, Mø, London Grammar, 2 Many DJs, John Newman, The Strypes, Dan Croll, Little Comets, Public Service Broadcasting and Faithless no less!
There were also some surprises and other interesting going-ons for the festival’s 10th anniversary with naked trampolining, pig racing, the infamous paint fight (see right), management fisticuffs between Regina Spektor and Eddy Temple Morris, and the hottest girl in the world Cara Delevingne lurking around the site also. The Guardian best described it for me – a “surreal hedonistic retreat”. Check out the review along with some other of my favourites; as well as a taster of the weekend’s music.
